Hey families! Get ready for an epic adventure with us as we celebrate the Family RV Association’s “A Bridge to the Future”! Mark your calendars for June 4th to 7th, and join us at the Allegan County Fairgrounds in the beautiful town of Allegan, Michigan. This isn’t just a rally; it’s a chance to create unforgettable memories, share laughs, and strengthen bonds as we honor the spirit of family and RV travel.
At the Allegan County Fairgrounds, we’ve got everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. With plenty of 30-amp and 50-amp sites that have water, don’t miss out on registering soon to secure your spot. And if you need a little extra help getting around, we’ve added even more activity carts to take you to and from the entertainment, dining, and vendor areas. Plus, with a honey wagon service and dump stations right on-site, you’ll have all the facilities you need for a fantastic stay.
This year, we’re continuing with the “Food Service” volunteer position. Whether you’d like to lend a hand with the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, the Volunteer Reception, or the ice cream social, our team leader will work with you to find the perfect fit.
We’re thrilled to sponsor our “anytime lunch” provided by the Allegan Band Boosters. With a variety of options to suit every taste, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your hunger. On Friday, we’ll have our ice cream social, and later in the afternoon, we’ll be hosting a reception for our volunteers, vendors, and chapter officers. And on Saturday morning, everyone’s invited to our delicious sausage and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast.
For a thrilling adventure, join us on a 90-minute cruise aboard the Star of Sauqatuck on Thursday, June 6th. As you glide along the beautiful Kalamazoo River, you’ll be amazed by the diverse array of boats, from cozy cottages to grand mansions. After your enchanting cruise, you’ll have some time to explore the charming local shops and boutiques before returning to shore. All this incredible experience is just $69 per person. While you’re at the Fairgrounds, there will be plenty of vendors offering seminars and a variety of RV-related products and other items. If you’re feeling creative, our craft coordinator will be hosting several fun activities. Maybe you’d rather play some games or light sports? Our activities coordinator has planned some great options, like cornhole and euchre.
And when the day is done, you can relax and enjoy some nightly entertainment. We’ll have movie night on Wednesday, Blind Ambition on Friday, and a group still to be announced on Saturday. Oh, and don’t forget Card Bingo, hosted by our very own distinguished member, Dane Bailey, the Singing Auctioneer, on Thursday.
