Great Lakes Area

The Great Lakes area is composed of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Ontario.

Welcome to the Great Lakes Area MotorCoach Association (GLAMA) website. The Great Lakes Area is one of the ten (10) areas of FMCA.  Of the nearly 75,000 member families in FMCA, a large number of them belong to one of the chapters in those areas. Within our Great Lakes Area, we currently have 17 chapters with members very similar to you. Chapters are unique because of member interests, location, or size. Each chapter offers their members various rallies during their “camping season” which is normally from April through November. During a chapter rally, there will be different local activities planned, food arrangements set, and definitely visiting and sharing of knowledge concerning our RVs and traveling lifestyle. Membership in a chapter is a way to enhance your RVing experience and share ideas and fellowship. Luckily, the Great Lakes Area offers so many things to see and do that the options are endless.  A list of our chapters and their contact information is available on this website. Additionally, information is available for our chapters’ rallies and will contain dates, locations, and contact information for the upcoming rally. Also available on this site is a link to information on GLAMARAMA which is our annual area rally.  Check your travel plans and attend a rally in our area when possible.  Remember, we are family and have the same desire to see this wonderful country while enjoying our own home on wheels.
